Mike Patterson

Meet Pastor Mike:

Mike Patterson grew up in Southern California and has been serving in ministry since around age 12 when he became a Jr. Leader at his church Awana club. Having worked in an 'official' capacity at two other churches here in the desert for a total of 13 years, he brings a diverse range of experience and skills to NorthGate, including Small Groups leadership, graphic design, and digital communications.

In his time outside of 'vocational ministry', Mike teaches graphic design for College of the Desert and Cal Baptist University. You may have seen Mike serving on our worship team as a volunteer on the weekends, and along with his wife Becky and their three children, the Patterson family are very glad to have found a home at NorthGate.

FUN FACTS ABOUT PASTOR MIKE:

• Mike is a life-long Batman fanatic, and has the crayon drawings from his childhood to prove it!
• Mike loves playing video games, especially anything Nintendo, or 'old school', like Atari, Colecovision, etc.
• Mike's wife, Becky grew up here in the Coachella Valley and graduated from Palm Springs High school.
• Diet Dr. Pepper is Mike's favorite beverage, but he tries to enjoy it in moderation.
